About This Work
Paulius Stankevicius, British, 1983 - present.
"Blue Kitten", 2026, acrylic on cotton canvas, created with paintbrushes. One of a kind.
• Description: “Blue Kitten” is a contemporary abstract painting that captures the playful essence of a kitten through a soft silhouetted form set against cool blue tones. The feline figure emerges as a gentle outline—minimal yet expressive—suggesting curiosity and quiet movement. Scattered around the silhouette, rounded shapes evoke yarn balls, adding rhythm and a touch of whimsy to the composition.
The restrained palette and clean shapes give the piece a modern, design‑forward feel, while the interplay between the kitten and the floating yarn elements creates a subtle narrative of playfulness. “Blue Kitten” balances charm with contemporary elegance, making it both visually soothing and delightfully characterful.
• Dimensions: Painting 61 x 61 x 3,8 cm, unframed.
• Signature details: Signed lower right, signed on the back.
• Documentation: Certificate of Authenticity.
• Sold by the author.
• Condition: In good original condition with no imperfections.
• Shipping: The artwork will be sent on a stretcher, unframed. The Painting will arrive in a box via a guaranteed delivery service to your address.
